Leases of the Nant Eos Estate 1808

The Powell family of Nanteos were extensive landowners in the parish of Llanbadarn Fawr as well as Lords of the Manor. The Nanteos Estate was surveyed in 1808 and the properties listed from Aberystwyth and Llanbadarn are given here. The original manuscript is preserved at the National Library of Wales (NLW Minor Deposit MSS 1088A). The original survey was made by Hugh Hughes in May 1808. It refers to the estate of William Edward Powell. This typescript refers only to property in Aberystwyth and Llanbadarn Fawr.
